QAQI is a central structure that supports the implementation of external and internal quality assurance and quality improvement systems at DarTU. As custodian of quality at DarTU, QAQI is responsible for among other things operationalization of the colleges Quality assurance and Quality Improvement system, provide technical support on QA matters, and ensure compliance of QA regulations and standards set by TCU and other regulatory bodies within the country and region. Other responsibilities of the QAQI are to promote capacity building on QA matters and create a sustainable quality improvement culture among DarTU stakeholders.  QAQI activities are guided by the DarTU Quality Assurance Policy of 2014. Other important documents are DarTU Quality Assurance Manual, and DarTU Tools and Instruments for Evaluation of Quality.
